STEP THREE: So, you’ve got the funds, permits and design. Well, now its time to build your container and ship it off to your site! While IMD builds out your container, you can begin the process of preparing the site, setting the foundation, and hooking up utilities.
SITE
In order to determine the appropriate foundation, assess the quality of the land by hiring a geologist or soils engineer for a soils report.
FOUNDATION AND UTILITIES
Next lay the appropriate foundation and set up the utilities. IMD can suggest ways of determining the appropriate foundation in your area.
DELIVERY AND SETUP
Once the container is ready and the foundation is set, the container can be delivered to your site. Depending on the unit you may need a crane and set crew.
